Hoonjung Kang

Hoonjung Kang is an associate attorney at Wilner & O'Reilly handling both family-based and business-based immigration matters. Ms. Kang is admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District.
Ms. Kang graduated high distinction in general scholarship from the University of California at Berkeley with B.A. in Psychology. She earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Before she went to law school, she had worked at Korean Immigrant Workers Advocates (KIWA) for assisting indigent Korean and Latino immigrant workers with their immigration related matters. She also had volunteered at Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) for Asian Language Legal Intake Project (ALLIP). She had assisted indigent Asian immigrants with their various legal issues. This prior experience with diverse immigrant communities in the greater Los Angeles area has given her a unique perspective in her practice of immigration law and helped forming empathetic relationship with clients.
A native of South Korea, she is fluent in Korean and has a deep cultural and social understanding of Asian communities in general.
