Associate Attorney – Sacramento

Amy J. GonzalezAmy J. Gonzalez is an associate attorney with the Sacramento office of Wilner & O’Reilly, APLC. Ms. Gonzalez earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA and has been admitted to practice law in the state of California.

Before attending law school, Ms. Gonzalez worked as a legal assistant at an immigration law firm in Ventura and Los Angeles, CA. After three short months, she was promoted to paralegal and managed her own removal defense caseload as well as family-based petitions, including I-130s, Adjustment of Status, and Naturalizations. Working in immigration further solidified Ms. Gonzalez’s passion and commitment to fighting for those underrepresented and helping empower their voices through the legal system.

Ms. Gonzalez’s work in immigration continued during law school through her participation in various community service events, such as the annual McGeorge Immigration Fair, OneJustice Justice Bus to Lake Tahoe, and volunteering as a Student Attorney at the McGeorge Immigration Legal Clinic. Through her legal experience, Ms. Gonzalez has gained a strong understanding of immigration law and looks forward to assisting clients with their immigration matters.

Ms. Gonzalez grew up in Santa Barbara County and enjoys going to the beach or on a hike with her rescue dog, Arlo. She is the proud daughter of Mexican emigrants and the proud granddaughter of agricultural field workers.
