Petra Pilar Moreno is an associate attorney at Wilner & O’Reilly APLC. Petra earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA, and has been admitted to practice law in the state of California.
Petra interned at various small law firms focusing on family-based Immigration. At Wilner & O’Reilly, Petra focuses on removal defense cases where she represents clients before the Court.
As the daughter of immigrant parents, she saw the struggles her parents experienced in navigating the complex legal system. She takes great pride in providing the help and guidance that clients need.
Not only is Petra focused on providing the legal guidance to unrepresented groups, but she also helps in other areas of a person’s life. As an Undergraduate student at UC Berkeley, Petra worked at a Center for Latino Policy Research where she worked closely with faculty staff to bridge the gap between education and the underrepresented Latinx and Indigenous community. She also takes part in helping the Refugee Health Allegiance in raising funds to provide medical services to migrants and refugees and other vulnerable patients at the Mexico-USA border.
In her personal life, Petra enjoys outdoor activities and connecting with nature. Additionally, she likes to hike, read, dance, and take long walks with her maltipoo.
