Morris “Maza” Wilner is an associate attorney in the San Diego office of Wilner & O’Reilly, APLC. Maza graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in international relations. He then earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Western State College of Law, where he also obtained a Certificate in Immigration Law. He is admitted to the State Bar of California.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Maza clerked with Wilner & O’Reilly, ALPC, and focused on removal and family-based immigration cases. He gained valuable knowledge on the complexities associated with asylum, marriage based green cards, and 601/601A waivers. He also lived and studied in Madrid, Spain. His passion for immigration law is deeply ingrained, stemming from personal experiences as the son of a Vietnamese immigrant and father who is also an immigration lawyer.
In his free time, Maza finds joy and fulfillment in diverse pursuits. An avid practitioner of jiu-jitsu since childhood, Maza currently trains with the goal of obtaining his black belt and competing at a high level. He achieved recognition for wrestling as a California state placer in high school and was a true freshman starter in college wrestling before pursuing different goals.
