Tamara was born in El Salvador and moved to Long Beach, California, in 2001 after a natural disaster devastated her home country. As an immigrant herself, she understands the challenges immigrants face in their pursuit of a better life. She is profoundly grateful for the opportunities this country has provided her with, enabling her to become a legal professional. With a strong sense of purpose, Tamara is committed to her career and fiercely advocates for those in need of security to build their lives and grow their families without fear of their immigration status standing in the way.
Tamara holds a degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, and obtained her Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law in Irvine, California. Throughout her educational journey and professional career, she has gained extensive experience in various areas of law, including immigration, personal injury, civil litigation, trust litigation, and estate planning. Her current focus is on practicing family-based immigration, where she is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their immigration challenges.
Outside of work, Tamara immerses herself in her interests, which include reading, walking in nature, cooking ethnic dishes, exploring true crime stories, visiting Disneyland, and spending quality time with her family and her 10-year-old dog.
