R. Ammon Dunn is an Associate Attorney in the Salt Lake City office of Wilner & O’Reilly, APLC. His practice focuses on removal defense before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (“Immigration Court”) and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), as well as family-based immigration matters.
Mr. Dunn earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. He is admitted to the Utah State Bar and is authorized to practice immigration law throughout the United States.
A native of San Diego, California, and the grandson of Mexican immigrants, Mr. Dunn has a deep appreciation for how culture and family shape the immigrant experience. Prior to joining Wilner & O’Reilly, he worked on a Congressional Committee for the U.S. House of Representatives and with various international and community non-profit organizations. He also served a religious mission in Chile and is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of the office, Ammon enjoys spending time with his wife and children, watching and playing sports, skiing, traveling, and exploring historic sites.
