The stakes are high, the path hard and complex, the strategies critical but the battle worth every effort. For athletes and entertainers it is the opportunity to perform or compete in the United States. For employers and entrepreneurs, it is the opportunity to fill a critical business need. For families, it is the opportunity to be reunited with loved ones. And for some, the opportunity to be free from oppressive regimes.
WHO WE ARE – ABOUT WILNER & O’REILLY
HOW WE STARTED
In 2003, Wilner & O’Reilly, APLC was established by Richard M. Wilner, a board-certified specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California (less than 3% of immigration law attorneys are certified specialists in the State of California ) and Kelly S. O’Reilly, a former Immigration Officer with Citizenship and Immigration Services. Together, they lead a team of accomplished lawyers and legal professionals serving clients on a local, national and international level.

OUR COMPASS
Richard and Kelly chose to anchor and dedicate the firm to upholding Judeo-Christian values. These values are manifested in the way we practice law. Honesty, hard-work and ethics guide all we do. Our priorities are clear: Our clients’ lives are on the line. That is humbling and we carry that trust protectively.
Law firms, apparel designers, investors, international artists, athletes and families give three reasons why they tap us to be their immigration lawyers:
1.
We know how it works on both sides. Kelly O’Reilly, a founding partner, is a former U.S. Immigration Officer. Seriously.
2.
Less than 3% of immigration law attorneys are certified specialists in the State of California. We have TWO certified specialists; one being founding partner, Richard Wilner
3.
“I have never waited more than 24 hours for a call to be returned,” is a phrase echoed in many of the thank you letters we receive from clients. When clients call us, their lives or their businesses are on the line. No matter who calls us, your call is returned, fast.
