DACA VIVE OTRA VEZ

Oportunidad inmediata para renovar DACA despues de la decision de la corte federal. Eso es bastante urgent y hay que aprovechar. El pasado Septiembre, USCIS anuncio que el programa de Accion Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia llegaria a su fin. El anuncio incluyo procedimientos para que ciertos recipientes de DACA puedan obtener una ultima renovacion. Sin embargo, una orden reciente de la corte Federal ha reinstalado el programa de DACA, por el tiempo presente, permitiendo que renueven su DACA si no pudieron hacerlo el otoño pasado.

El Departamento de Homeland Security decidio en el 05 de Septiembre del 2017 que terminarian el programa de Accion Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia. En ese tiempo, concedieron un periodo de un mes para los recipientes corrientes de DACA para renovar su permiso de trabajo, pero solo para aquellos que su DACA se vencia antes del 05 de Marzo del 2018. Si su permiso de trabajo se vence despues del 05 de Marzo del 2018, no fueron permitidos presentar una renovacion durente ese periodo del mes, y su DACA simplemente se vencia en la fecha escrita en la carta de aprovacion.

Sin embargo, DHS y Servicio de Ciudadania e Inmigracion de EU anunciaron un cambio este fin de semana a conformidad de la decision de la corte Federal. A partir de hoy, cualquiera que no califico para renovar su DACA por tener una fecha de vencimiento despues del 05 de Marzo del 2018, puede presentar la solicitud para renovacion. Esto solo aplica ha esos quien buscan renovar, no para solicitantes nuevos de DACA.

Cualquier recipiente de DACA que no califico para el proceso de renovacion el Septiembre pasado deveria aprovechar del proceso de renovacion lo mas pronto posible. DACA seguro que padecera mas cambios en los meses siguientes como el proceso de apelacion comenzara y los juezes federales revisaran esta decision reciente. Nosotros fuertemente sugerimos a cualquier persona a la que fue incapaz de renovar anteriormente y a la caul su DACA se vence en el 2018 que aprovechen y vengan a vernos de inmediato para poder empezar el processo de aplicacion.
